Carli Davidson’s Pets with Disabilities Project is Amazingly Bold and Inspiring
In celebration of National Specially-able Pets Day, Carli Davidson’s amazing animal photography is inspiring the world. The 31-year-old photographer utilizes her talent to capture the amazing souls of pets as they do their darndest to warm the hearts of humanity.
Two years ago, Davidson saw a wheel-chair-bound German Sheperd playing catch with its owner. She was so touched by what she witnessed that she began developing a special photo series entitled “Pets with Disabilities”. The focus of the series are pets that are blind or partially paralyzed and the dedication of their owners.
For instance, meet Diego, a blind Chihuahua and his seeing eye dog Buddy. The beauty of this partnership is that Buddy leads the way for Diego as he tries to navigate through the world. As Buddy walks, Diego follows the tapping of his nails . Such a partnership reveals that each and every day there are miracles at work around us…all we have to do is be aware:
Beginning tomorrow, Davidson will make her work available for sale online. Ten percent of all sales will be donated to various rescue centers that offer services for special needs pets. Visit www.carlidavidson.com and subscribe to her on Facebook page to support her work. Pass on the word!
